As someone who made the move to Central Florida from Buffalo, NY, I can confidently say that DeLand is a hidden gem worth discovering. When my husband, David, and I chose this area over five years ago, we quickly fell in love with everything DeLand has to offer. One of the things I love most about DeLand is its location. It’s a quick drive to the beaches of Daytona or New Smyrna, and we’re close enough to Orlando to enjoy its world-class attractions without living in the hustle and bustle.
